This document describes the changes in the software since the last release. Please check which parts are affecting your environment carefully.
| Title | Description |

| Service-stopping and checking | EWA Installation Manager now stops all EWA-services and checks if any of the internal processes are still running (tomcat.exe, tbmux32.exe, tbkern32.exe). Installations/Updates will only run successfully if all services and processes could be stopped correctly. Any thirdparty Tomcat- or Transbase-process that is running within the EWA-installation-directory should be stopped prior to updating. |
| Problem with managing of Windows services | A problem with managing Windows services had been adressed. Now Installer and AdminTool are no longer using sc.exe for managing services. |
| EWANAPI | EWANAPI has been updated to fix a bug on Star Diagnosis when reading the appserv_user.ini-file from SDnetControl. On Star Diagnosis and XENTRY Connect the EWANAPI will check for appserv_user.ini and (if user.ini not available) for appserv.ini. The paths have to be added in registry for EWANAPI to find them. |
| EWAnAPI News Decoder | EWAnAPI News Decoder (Token acceptor) does not need to be replaced. |
| AdminTool changes | Several issues have been fixed for AdminTool. Also some new features are included in this update for the AdminTool:

| Dataspooler | A new version of dataspooler has been integrated. It is a complete new implementation of dataspooler. |
| Market/Manufacturer Notes | When a user is to be deleted, the market/manufacturer notes of this user should not be deleted at the same time. They should still be available for other users to read. This has been implemented now. |
| Web Service | A new Web Service has been added to determine access rights of a user. This web service needs to be enabled in core_cfg.xml by setting a password in "AccessRightsWS". Without password this service will not run, so by default it is turned off. |
| Versioning | The versions of the following jar-files have been incremented in order to update certificates:
Also, the versioning of the CommonLic.dll has been fixed. |
